The Role

As part of Just Grow Hospitality dynamic revenue management team located in Piraeus Greece, the Revenue Executive will work closely with Revenue Manager and Reservations Team to successfully position properties in markets through pricing and yield management, and performs analysis on price positioning and competitive set performance. The canditate will be part of the team responsible for optimizing room’s revenue of Just Grow Hospitality properties by strategically managing pricing, inventory, and channel distribution.

What you’ll do

Perform analysis for Revenue Manager and contribute to develop hotel/property strategies and tactics to optimize revenues. Including but not limited to the following:

  • Historical and future demand analysis.
  • Business mix analysis.
  • Competitive set analysis.

Change hotel/property rates and inventory, by day, to ensure the property is properly priced in the market based on Revenue Manager instructions and input. Including but not limited to:

  • Setting/managing rates by season, rate category and by room type.
  • Maintaining channel parity.
  • Monitoring competitive pricing and report accordingly.
  • Manage inventory restrictions (MLOS).

Work closely with Revenue Manager. Track and communicate the effectiveness of defined strategies and tactics making recommendations for on-going adjustments:

  • Weekly tracking / status reports.
  • End of month reviews.

Additional ad hoc analysis and/or project work as requested by Revenue Manager.

  • Group displacement analysis.
  • Price Value Comparison.
  • Potential property visits as determined necessary.
You’ll be successful if you have
  • Basic understanding of hotel or travel industry distribution landscape and systems.
  • Αnalytical skills and ability to translate and present metrics into actionable proposals.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint; knowledge of business intelligence/reporting tools to pull data and reports.
  • Above average organizational skills; ability to successfully manage multiple activities in parallel.
  • Above average communication skills; ability to confidently and clearly interact remotely with property and brand resources; convey ideas clearly in voice and in writing.
  • Ability to analyze and present findings from quantitative data; can assimilate information and data from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
  • Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
  • Must have a basic understanding of financial terms and P&L statements.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Required Qualifications/Experience
  • University degree on a related field or equivalent experience in a revenue role
  • 1+ years of successful progressive experience in a revenue, strategy, or hotel operations role.
  • Basic experience using hotel industry or travel industry extranets and PMS systems
  • Basic Experienced Booking Engine user-preferably WebHotelier
  • Fluent in English and Greek

Just Grow Hospitality is looking to add a Reservations Agent in the team based in Athens, Greece

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handling reservation inquiries and guests requests via e-mail, phone calls and reservation platforms in. prompt, accurate, friendly and professional manner following company’s standards
  • Managing daily operations of reservations department
  • Frequent communication with the front office department
  • Handling Online Booking Engine and the group’s multi – PMS
  • Handling TO contracts (confirm reservations, etc)
  • Knowledge of all major Extranets (B2B, B2C, OTA)
  • Room Allocation
  • Constant communication with the Sales and Accounting Departments regarding offers or following up on payments.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • A degree in Hospitality/Tourism
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and in writing.
  • Knowledge of an additional language will be considered as an asset.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook will be considered an asset
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Guest friendly mentality
  • Ability to effectively working under pressure.
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in a multi-property management system and major OTAs extranets will be considered an asset.
